ESS Group, Inc. is currently providing on-site environmental compliance management and support to Cranston Print Works (CPW) at their facility located in Webster, Massachusetts.
CPW is one of the oldest continuously operating textile processing and printing plants in the country. The facility includes an on-site heating plant, textile printing, finishing and converting operations, and on-site wastewater treatment that present a wide variety of environmental compliance requirements. ESS has assisted CPW with air permitting, hazardous waste management, environmental recordkeeping and reporting, personnel training, and wastewater treatment plant operations. ESS also assisted CPW with their first greenhouse gas emissions inventory, which was required by one of their major clients. The inventory addressed direct and indirect sources, including transportation and waste management, and normalized greenhouse gas emission against production activities to provide a meaningful trends analysis.
